DuraSlic Xtreme 7-Year

Excellent long-term protection for owners who want a simple maintenance style: wash properly, dry properly, and generally leave the coating alone.

Maintenance-product fit
Because DuraSlic Xtreme is strongly oleophobic, conventional spray waxes and many topper products are not a good match. The coating can reject incompatible products and they may streak. Customers who enjoy regularly using Ceramic Detail Spray or compatible toppers are generally a better fit for Obsidian.
Glass Coating Add-ons
Glass coating helps water bead and makes glass easier to clean. Glass coating add-ons are available with a vehicle ceramic-coating service where not already included. Windshield, side windows and rear glass coating is included with DuraSlic 5-Year (except XL / Van), 7-Year Obsidian Graphene and C6 Permanent. Window coating is an optional $75 windshield / $175 all-exterior-window add-on for DuraSlic 4-Year in every size, DuraSlic 5-Year XL / Van, and DuraSlic Xtreme. Xtreme package pricing remains individually quoted. Sunroofs and panoramic glass roofs are quoted separately by size.

Choose windshield-only or all exterior windows; the all-window option already includes the windshield. Water-spot removal and scratch polishing are separate services.
CAA real-world observation/testing
C6 on the Shop X-Runner
CAA has been observing C6 on part of the shop X-Runner alongside DuraSlic and Jade Obsidian for approximately 1.5 years and has observed good durability. This is CAA field observation, not controlled laboratory proof.
Professional installation
The coating is the final step. The preparation underneath it determines the result.
The exact correction work depends on the vehicle. CAA inspects first, tests when needed, and prepares the surfaces before coating application.
