Rust Proofing

What’s the difference between clear inner rustproofing and rubberized undercoating?
CAA’s clear inner rustproofing is applied with cavity wands inside body cavities and designated internal areas. Inner frame-rail treatment is an optional upgrade. It helps reduce corrosion from salt air and moisture but does not make a vehicle rustproof. Black rubberized undercoating covers the underside or exterior frame; CAA does not offer that service. Ceramic coating helps protect exterior paint, while inner rustproofing addresses corrosion inside designated body areas.
Inner Frame Rail Upgrade
For trucks and body-on-frame SUVs, we offer an inner frame rail treatment as an add-on. The product is applied inside the main side rails and cross members — not sprayed on the outside like traditional undercoating. This is where structural rust does the most long-term damage on trucks in Hawaii's environment.
